Anna Arts Council/Anna TowneLIFE/ Live count/Updated —

Ten numbers Anna
has never counted.

Anna Arts Council said Issue ZERO would leave the opening number blank wherever no verified baseline existed — and that the blank was an invitation, not a weakness. This is that page. Ten counters, published in public, updated as they change. Watch the zeros become triple digits.

The count

Not all numbers are worth the same.

These are grouped on purpose. Foundation numbers are hard to move and mean the most — each one is a real person or a real thing that exists in Anna. Activity numbers show the work happening. Value numbers show the money, including the number most arts organizations never publish: how much reached the artists.

Every card carries its own definition. If it isn't defined, it isn't published.

Foundation Verified records

People and things that exist in Anna. Slow to grow, impossible to fake, and the base every grant application stands on.

Activity Logged as it happens

What actually got made, held, taught and shown. Recorded at the moment it occurs — not reconstructed at report time.

Value Dollars

Money in, and money out to the people it was raised for. Both published. The second number is the one that matters.

The compounding part

Every profile built makes
every placement worth more.

This is the mechanic that makes TowneLIFE different from a directory and the magazine different from a newsletter. Artists join to be found. Businesses join to find them. Residents come for what's happening. Each group makes the platform more valuable to the other two — and every sponsor and advertiser is buying a bigger room than they were last quarter.

Drag to see what the platform is worth at scale. The marker starts at today's real count.

Perfect-bound, kept on tables for months. Print reach is counted separately from digital because it behaves differently.

What a placement is worth at that reach

Rate tiers rise with reach because the audience genuinely is bigger. A Moment Keeper who commits early locks a rate the network will outgrow.

Modeled Rate tiers are a planning model built from reach, not a published rate card. Cover positions are handled by inquiry only and are not represented here. Confirm current rates with Anna Arts Council.

How one number feeds the next

Nothing on this page moves alone.

These aren't ten separate scoreboards. They're one loop. A profile becomes a hire, a hire becomes a paid contract, a paid contract becomes grant evidence, grant evidence becomes a program, a program fills the magazine, and the magazine brings back the next hundred profiles.

01

Profiles

Artists, businesses, nonprofits and residents build verified profiles. The count of people who can be found in Anna goes up.

02

Reach

More profiles means more searches, more listings, more traffic — and a magazine and app worth more to every sponsor.

03

Revenue

Sponsors and advertisers buy into a bigger room. That revenue funds programs, events and artist contracts.

04

Evidence

Every contract, event, dollar and participant is recorded — which is the exact material a grant application requires.

05

Grants

Awards fund more programs and pay more artists, whose work fills the magazine and draws the next round of profiles.

The loop is why the first hundred profiles are worth more than they look. They aren't an audience number — they're the input to every other number on this page.

Counting rules

A number nobody can check
isn't a number.

Anna Arts Council publishes what it can prove, labels what it estimates, and corrects what it learns. That standard applies hardest to a page like this one, where a number is easy to inflate and nobody would immediately know.

Verified record

Counted from a completed record in the TowneLIFE system: a finished profile, a signed contract, a recorded payment, a logged event. One record, one count.

Derived

Calculated from verified records using a stated formula. Reach is derived — it is not a separate thing anyone submitted.

Modeled

A planning projection from visible assumptions. Never presented as something that has happened.

No duplicates, no inflation

Profiles count once when complete, not when started. Dollars count when received, not when pledged. Events count when held, not when scheduled. Corrections are published, not quietly edited.

Numbers refresh from the TowneLIFE record. Where a counter reads zero, it reads zero — a blank is published as a blank until there is something real to put in it.
