Program agreements

I understand this is an independent contractor relationship — not employment. I am responsible for my own taxes and work on a per-project basis.I understand contributors are paid from a shared commission of each issue’s ad-revenue pool, distributed after publication and editorial approval — not a fixed salary or guaranteed amount.For accepted local work, I grant Anna Co-op Magazine first-publication rights and a limited period of exclusivity, plus a license for digital, print, archive, promotion, and syndication. I keep ownership of my work, will disclose anything previously published, and won’t submit duplicate work elsewhere at the same time. I may otherwise work wherever I choose.I agree to provide a completed W-9 before receiving my first payout, so Anna Co-op Magazine can report contractor earnings correctly.I understand I’ll sign a written contributor agreement covering rights, payment, attribution, corrections, conflicts, conduct, confidentiality, and termination before any paid, published work.
