These are plain-English community ground rules written to be clear, not to bury you in legalese. They are in effect when you use the platform. We may update them as the platform grows and will note the date at the top when we do.
Who runs this. Welcome to Anna (AnnaTexas.org) is an independent community platform currently piloting in Anna, Texas, in collaboration with local partners including the Anna Arts Council. It is not a City of Anna government service and is not officially affiliated with the municipal government unless and until a formal partnership is announced in writing.

Welcome to Anna is a community platform built for the people and businesses of Anna, Texas. By using it, you agree to these ground rules so it stays a helpful, trustworthy place for everyone.
Your account
Please provide accurate information when you sign up and keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding agreement in Texas to create an account.
Being a good neighbor
- Post honestly. Don't impersonate others or misrepresent your business.
- Keep it respectful — no harassment, hate, or spam.
- Only post content you have the right to share.
- Don't use the platform for anything unlawful.
We may remove content or accounts that break these rules to protect the community.
Businesses, tokens & offers
Local businesses can claim a listing, post offers and jobs, and use tokens for features like leads and featured placement. A one-time profile setup fee and token packs are purchases of access to platform features, not of a guaranteed outcome — we can't promise a specific number of leads, sales, or results. Because tokens and setup unlock digital features immediately, fees and token purchases are generally non-refundable once the feature is activated; if something is billed in error, email us and we'll make it right. Prices are shown at the point of purchase before you pay.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you give us permission to display it within the platform so the community can see it. You can ask us to remove your content at any time.
The basics
The platform is provided as-is while we grow it during launch. We'll do our best to keep it running smoothly, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update these terms as the platform evolves, and we'll note when we do.
