Welcome to Anna is a community platform built for the people and businesses of Anna, Texas. By using it, you agree to these ground rules so it stays a helpful, trustworthy place for everyone.

Your account

Please provide accurate information when you sign up and keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding agreement in Texas to create an account.

Being a good neighbor

• Post honestly. Don't impersonate others or misrepresent your business.
• Keep it respectful — no harassment, hate, or spam.
• Only post content you have the right to share.
• Don't use the platform for anything unlawful.

We may remove content or accounts that break these rules to protect the community.

Businesses, offers & promo codes

Local businesses can claim a listing, post offers and jobs, and use platform features like leads and featured placement. A one-time profile setup fee and feature purchases buy access to platform features, not a guaranteed outcome — we can't promise a specific number of leads, sales, or results. Because these purchases unlock digital features right away, they are generally non-refundable once activated; if something is billed in error, email us and we'll make it right. Prices are shown before you pay.

Promo codes are valid only through the date stated with the code, may be paused or changed at any time, have no cash value, and cannot be resold or combined unless we say so. For example, the COOPWAVE code waives the business setup fee through February 2, 2027. Anna Co-op Magazine ads and sponsorships are paid in U.S. dollars.

Community Classifieds

The Classifieds are a neighbors-only marketplace for Anna. To keep it local and trustworthy:

• Who can post. Verified Anna residents may browse and post. Residents verify by sending a street address and ZIP code, which our team reviews; we use it only to confirm residency and never show it publicly. Approved local businesses may post For Sale, Free, and Announcement listings under their business name.
• Not allowed. Firearms, ammunition, explosives, and fireworks; drugs, prescription medicine, and paraphernalia; alcohol, tobacco, and vape products; live animals for sale (free rehoming of pets is fine); recalled, counterfeit, stolen, or pirated items; adult content; gift cards, cryptocurrency, and account logins; weight-loss or medical claims; and anything illegal in Texas. Housing and service listings are paused for now.
• Be honest. Describe the item and its condition accurately, use your own photos, and post only things you own and have the right to sell.
• Meet safely. Meet in daylight in a busy, well-lit public place, bring a friend or tell someone where you're going, and don't meet at your home for small sales. You can ask the Anna Police Department (972-924-2848) whether its lobby or parking lot is available for exchanges.
• Avoid scams. Never accept more than the asking price or send “change” back. Never pay or accept payment with gift cards, wire transfers, or cryptocurrency. Inspect the item before you pay. Keep conversations in the app's messages so there's a record.
• Listings expire. Listings close automatically after 45 days. You can mark an item sold or remove it any time.
• Reporting and removal. To report a listing, email [email protected] with the listing title. Listings that name prohibited items are blocked automatically. We may remove listings or suspend accounts that break these rules, without notice.
• You deal directly. Buyers and sellers deal with each other. We don't handle payments, inspect items, or guarantee any sale, and we aren't a party to the deal. If you're scammed, report it to us, to ReportFraud.ftc.gov, and to local police.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you give us permission to display it within the platform so the community can see it. You can ask us to remove your content at any time.

Some posts, such as Kind Deeds and stories, are reviewed by our team before they appear publicly. Posts from verified residents may appear right away and can still be removed later if they break these rules.

The basics

The platform is provided as-is while we grow it during launch. We'll do our best to keep it running smoothly, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update these terms as the platform evolves, and we'll note when we do.
